Glacier Queer Alliance

The Glacier Queer Alliance (GQA) is focused on providing positive, safe, community resources, events, and spaces for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations in the Flathead Valley.

True U Clinic

True U is an online hormone therapy clinic that provides safe and medically supervised hormone therapy to the trans and non-binary community. They utilize modern day technology and the most up-to-date clinical practices, with a goal to provide this service at an accessible price, all while treating patients with compassion and respect. This service is available in Montana.

TransVisible Montana

This is a coalition of transgender, non-binary, and two spirit individuals and organizations throughout the state of Montana. TransVisible Montana provides workshops, leadership opportunities, education, and more to the people of Montana. Contact them for mentorship through legal name changes in Montana.

The Center

Changing the Gender on Your Birth Certificate in MT

As of December 17, 2017, Montana will issue a new birth certificate with an updated name and gender upon receipt of an affidavit from the individual, a government-issued ID showing the correct gender, or a court order. No court order or proof of surgery is required. Click this link for detailed information.
